Medium: 10,000 meters of white thread, 5000 nails
Dimensions: 15x80x60 feet
Ordinary white thread is stretched across the entire space of the gallery knotted to nails in vertical and horizontal grids along the walls. Geometrical patterns appear and disappear as viewers (and their vantage points) move through the space. As the natural light in the space changes throughout the day, the lines that fill the space appear anywhere from 1 to 4-dimensional, quietly and disconcertingly challenging the visual/spatial perception of the viewer.
